Kellie Martin. Martin, a native of the United States is an American actor and actress in the film and television industries. She is most famous for playing Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher and Lucy Knight on the series ER. Her other notable roles include playing the title role in the 'Hailey Dean Mystery' series. Martin was the daughter of an employee of a department store and the kindergarten teacher. Her first acting experience was as a child at the age of seven. her Aunt, who was a nanny in Michael Landon's family, helped Martin find a role as an actor on the 1982 television series Father Murphy. Martin began her professional acting career when she graduated from Yale University. This led to her landing a variety of part-time roles in the TV and film industry. Apart from being an actor, Martin is a skilled photographer and dancer. Two daughters are hers and a son, she is also the Lupus ambassador and has been spreading awareness of the disease every day since the death of her sister when she was the age of 19.
